Ethicon Visiting Professorship of ACRSI-2009
 Applications are invited for the Ethicon Visiting Professorship for the year 2009
  1. This fellowship is meant to be utilized only within our country.
  2. The application should contain a complete biodata of the candidate, highlighting the contributions made by him/her to teaching & research in the field of colorectal surgery.
  3. The professorship is primarily intended to promote surgical learning in any medical centre in the country by the visit of an active eminent member of ACRSI.
  4. The visiting professor should be a senior member of the association & visit non teaching hospitals preferably in rural areas, where minimum facilities are available, particularly where there is no medical college.
  5. He/She should spend a minimum of ten days for conducting operations & giving lectures, demonstrations etc. in the field of colorectal surgery.
  6. He/she should complete his visit before the 30th September 2009 & submit his report to the Hon. Secretary of ACRSI along with a certificate from the Head of the Institution(s) before 30th October, 2009.
  7. The programme of the visit has to be finalized by mutual consultation between the visiting professor & the head of the institution to be visited by him/her.
  8. 4 copies of the application along with relevant enclosures should reach the Hon. Secretary of ACRSI by 30th November 2008.
  9. The Selection of candidate would be done by a duly appointed committee of the ACRSI & its decision shall be final & binding.
  10. A sum of Rs. 10,000/- ( Rs. Ten thousand only) along with a plaque would be presented to the Visiting Professor during the Sectional Programme of ACRSI during ASICON in December 2009 during which a brief presentation of 10 minutes will have to be made by the Visiting Professor regarding his visit.

Dr.Indru Khubchandani Oration - 2009.
 Applications are invited for the Dr. Indru Khubchandani Oration for the year 2009.
  1. The application should contain a complete bio-data of the candidate, highlighting the contributions made by him/her to teaching & research in the field of colorectal surgery.
  2. The applicant should either be a senior member ACRSI or a colorectal surgeon of repute.
  3. 4 copies of the application along with relevant enclosures should reach the Hon. Secretary of ACRSI by 30th November, 2008.
  4. The selection of candidate would be done by a duly appointed committee of the ACRSI & its decision shall be final & binding.
  5. The Oration will be delivered on December 29th 2009 during ASICON 2009.
  6. A plaque, along with a certificate would be presented to the Orator.
 
Dr.P.N.Joshi Oration - 2009.
 Applications are invited for the Dr. P.N.Joshi Oration for the year 2009.
  1. The application should contain a complete bio-data of the candidate, highlighting the contributions made by him/her to teaching & research in the field of colorectal surgery.
  2. The applicant should either be a senior member ACRSI or a colorectal surgeon of repute.
  3. 4 copies of the application along with relevant enclosures should reach the Hon. Secretary of ACRSI by 30th November, 2008.
  4. The selection of candidate would be done by a duly appointed committee of the ACRSI & its decision shall be final & binding.
  5. The Oration will be delivered during the National (mid-term) Conference of ACRSI to be held at Delhi in September 2009.
  6. A plaque, along with a certificate would be presented to the Orator.

 Applications are invited for the Dr. R.K.Menda Oration for the year 2009.
  1. The application should contain a complete bio-data of the candidate, highlighting the contributions made by him/her to teaching & research in the field of colorectal surgery.
  2. The applicant should either be a senior member ACRSI or a colorectal surgeon of repute.
  3. 4 copies of the application along with relevant enclosures should reach the Hon. Secretary of ACRSI by 30th November, 2008.

 Applications are invited for the Dr. P.N. Joshi Guest Lecture for the year 2009.
  1. The application should contain a complete bio-data of the candidate, highlighting the contributions made by him/her to teaching & research in the field of colorectal surgery.
  2. The applicant should either be a senior member ACRSI or a colorectal surgeon of repute.
  3. 4 copies of the application along with relevant enclosures should reach the Hon. Secretary of ACRSI by 30th November 2008.
  4. The selection of candidate would be done by a duly appointed committee of the ACRSI & its decision shall be final & binding.
  5. The guest lecture will be delivered on December 29th 2009 during ASICON 2009.
  6. A plaque, along with a certificate would be presented.
